Solicitation amendment 002 is issued to provide ‘Question and Answer Set 2’ as follows; 1. In reference to Annex “A”, article 6.2 Deck outfit, 6.2.2.5: Question 1: The Garmin GPSMAP 740 is discontinued, can we substitute with the Garmin GPSMAP 741? Answer 1: Yes
2. In reference to Annex “A”, article 6.2.22.1, ‘There must be two (2) VAC power receptacles, one on each console (Operator/Navigation) in addition, there must be two USB power receptacles, one for each console’: Question 2: As there will be no power to the receptacles when not plugged into shore power, unless an inverter or generator is used on board, do we need to add an inverter? Answer 2: Yes, an inverter is required.
3. In reference to Annex “A”, article 7.1 PROPLUSION: Question 3: Will you consider other water jet propulsion? Answer 3: The requirements as identified in the TSOR must be met.
