Financial Situation SAFERIB
EURONS 1. Annual Report still has not been approved by EC revisions required mainly due to Transnational Access to Large Scale Research Infrastructures no complaints about JRA reports issued latest news from EURONS coordination: OK from scientific officer, now waiting for financial officer 2nd prefinancing will not take place before final approval of report present resources: (unspent) reserves at institutions and at MANET ~30% of projected JRA requests for 2006 will be available

Reporting Procedure 2006 Annual report for 1.1.-31.12.06:

- basically same procedure can be used as last year (no complaints by EC): progress information to be delivered by Activity Coordinators to MANET financial information to be delivered by institutions to MANET no new templates will be issued by MANET for Activity Reports - important dates: 24.11. : progress information sent to Activity Coordinator 1.12. : Activity Report sent to MANET by Activity Coordinator 11./12.12. : EURONS PCC-Meeting in Groningen: discussion of Activity Reports, initiate revisions ? 20.12.: final Activity Report to MANET 15.1.07: Cost Statements from Institutions needed at MANET > all spending until 31.12. (including personnel) (“Put pressure on your financial officer” …) must be in time, check with your financial officer in advance !! Reporting basics: A Activity Report: - progress report: follows AIS structure - list of milestones/deliverables achieved - use and dissemination of knowledge (meetings, workshops, web..) > here your input is needed - feedback from last report: keep it short (no figures, no physics details) !
B Management Report: ‘Justification of the resources deployed’: > Cost Statement (Form C): financial officer of institution C Report on the Distribution of Resources: > MANET
D Detailed Implementation Plan of next 12 months > budget request for months 25-36 > based on AIS and Annex I of contract
