Progress in MC-calculations with FLUKA

• usage of the heavy ion version of FLUKA •development of a routine for scoring (the fluence of) projectile fragments

•usage of the remanent dose feature of FLUKA 2005 (since august 05) •Comparisons of remanent dose with tabulated activity-to-dose-rate factors for easy geometry •remanent dose calculation for a shielding wall at the existing Fragment Separator (E. Kozlova)

Measurements of double differential neutron yields from deuterium beams on a lead target •Deuterons @ 500 MeV/u and @ 800 MeV/u on 5cm lead target •Coulomb Break Up => nearly monoenergetic neutron beam •Scoring double differential neutron spectra in forward direction ( 0 - 4°) with Large Area Neutron Detector
