AMENDMENT #6 This amendment contains: 1. Question & Answer (#11) QUESTION 11 : Are there any weight limits for the excavation and backfilling equipment? Only the mass of the carrier vehicle of the hydraulic hammer for demolition is specified (10,000 kg). ANSWER 11 : Equipment specified in section 01 24 16.05, paragraph 3.3.3.2 is related only to the demolition of concrete slab located under the asphalt layer. Weight limitation of equipment at 10,000 Kg and pneumatic hammer at 1,000 J is required to avoid any excessive vibration who could damage the remaining structure. This procedure is taken from the Cahier des Charges et Devis Généraux (CCDG). The 10,000 Kg limitation for carrying vehicle does not apply to work related to asphalt and aggregate excavation. To perform this work, Contractor is allowed to use conventional equipment (excavator, pulvo, trucks, etc.)
2. Price Table Replace the Combined Price Form by the one included in this solicitation amendment.
3. Technical Addendum #1 Technical addendum 1 replace sections 01 29 00 and 01 35 43 from the specifications and add annexes pertaining to the environmental characterization.
