Amendment No. 001 to the solicitation is raised to provide a Question (Q) and Answer (A) received from the Industry and to extend the bid closing date.
Q.1 We specifically are referring to the request by DND that a Certificate of Shock Testing be submitted before a bid can be accepted. This Precedent was established YEARS ago when these pumps were first made. Shock testing of any of these pumps will have to be part of the manufacturing process - which is normal and follows industry and DND itself established procedures. Please have this Certificate part of this Solicitation removed.
