Description

Green

HEATER

Heater LED - ON when the PIC is requesting the heater to be turned ON and the “temperature limit protection” is not active. The corresponding heater output is enabled.

Yellow

TEMPLIMIT

Temperature Limit - protection active, the corresponding heater output is temporarily disabled as the temperature of the heater is too high.

Red

OVERTEMP SHUTDOWN

Over Temperature Shutdown active, the corresponding heater output was shutdown as a safety precaution. An alarm is sent to the Syscon

5. Normal operation with communication 6. Module or associated item is in marginal condition; or communication errors are occurring 7. Module or associated item is in fault state, current analyzer data is invalid

None; normal Need to repair or replace this module or an associated item Need to repair or replace this module or an associated item

Notes: • States 2-3 are normal temporary states for the module to pass through during power up or reset of the module. • States 4-5 are the normal fully operational states of the module. • States 6-7 are the warning and fault states of the module. The LED’s will indicate this state for the duration of the warning or fault condition. • In a warning condition, the analyzer data is probably still valid, but maintenance attention is needed. In the fault state, the current analyzer data is probably not valid. • These states are intended to indicate that a physical repair/replacement is needed to the module or an associated item. Configuration errors, etc. that require a database change to correct the situation are not indicated on the LED’s. • The green LED serves as a power-on indicator in states 4-7 by being DIM when no communication is present. The LED will go to full brightness when communication activity is present.

Flame Sense LED – Flame Ignite LED Not all detectors have flame sense capability. If this feature is available, the RED LED is ON for flame OUT. However if the LED is OFF it does not necessarily means that the flame is lit. The ignite yellow LED is ON when the ignition circuit is active and the proper condition are met. For a glow plug it means that the voltage and current must exceed a minimum limit. For the spark ignite, the Ignite LED flashes for each time a spark is initiated.

Range Change (Low Gain) LED The Range Change LED is just below the temp lights. It is on when the mezzanine board range change is ON.
