In case of an alarm, a screen message appears informing about the time, alarm duration and the defect position. This information is automatically saved in a log file. In the software a temperature ring buffer is used. When an alarm trigger occurs, 500 temperature lines are stored in an image file. Two file formats are available: the DataTemp DP recallable binary format and the exportable ASCII format (tp be opened with software programs like MS-Excel, MS-Access).
