TALON FX RESERVE PACKING SUPPLEMENT OVERVIEW The Talon FS and FX are very similar in construction and therefore in packing have only two basic differences: 1. The closing sequence of the reserve flaps is reversed on the last two flaps of the FX compared to the FS. The closing sequence label of the FX (located on the bottom of the outer top reserve flap) shows the correct sequence as follows: 1-right, 2-left, 3-top, and 4-bottom (Fig 1).

2. The Reserve Static Line lanyard (RSL) is different in configuration and installation on the FX. Installation is as follows: Step 1. Fold the lanyard in half at the yellow bartacks. With the bartacks facing the yoke insert the folded lanyard into the pocket on the yoke immediately above the 3-ring harness ring (Fig 2).

Step 2. Route the lanyard back over the shoulder and fold under the RSL cover (Fig 3).
