BA04 BID VALIDITY PERIOD The bid shall not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the date of solicitation closing. BA05 ACCEPTANCE AND CONTRACT Upon acceptance of the Contractor’s offer by Canada, a binding Contract shall be formed between Canada and the Contractor. The documents forming the Contract shall be the contract documents identified in Contract Documents (CD). Description 1. It was clarified by Stantec Architect that the construction will be phased as indicated on dwg A002 of the Tender set. RCMP PM underlined that this was critical and shall be strictly enforced. Refer to Section 01 11 00 of the specification, subsection 1.4.3.1

2. RCMP PM also highlighted that the work shall be 100% complete prior to Owner acceptance for occupancy, not Substantial Performance. Once the building is complete, accepted and handed over, there will be no access for the contractor thereafter for that part of phased construction. 3. It was clarified that a new site access has been proposed and as such the site services will need to be kept in due consideration including a new water line connection. 4. The landscape / civil involves a new CB in the new north parking area. All of this will involve relevant civil tie-in to the exiting. 5. The contractors walked through the entire building along with the basement where the access to the crawl space was inspected including the cell-Area. 6. Any down time will have to be brought into Deptt. Representative’s notice at least 48 hours in advance. Refer section 01 14 00 of the specification issued for tender. 7. All questions during the tender period will be addressed to Dale Rudderham and shall be responded to through an addendum
