Au sens néoplatonicien il s’agit de rejoindre l’Ungrund, l’absence d’assise, la lumière primordiale, l’abîme plus profond que Dieu lui-même, préférer une logique d’inachèvement à une illusion d’achèvement.

From the bottomless, from these fathomless depths, from this supraterrestrial and transparent night, shines the mercurial, bitter man, distressed and sighing for the light. Under the dark glance of a severe and irascible God, sombre flames accompany the puny human creature in his fight against inertia. Threatened by the silence of naught, threatened by the shadows of contemplation from the bottom of the ages, of an indefinable 1duration, the creature leaves its desperate innocence and decides to follow its insane dream of completion. Fleeing the bottomless, the man harshly wishes to treat his fundamental anxiety. An angry spring will bread the corruption of time, the pursuit of the illusion of completion, which justifies all totalitarianisms. The man awakes. He gladly sacrifices himself in a horror bath, in the name of a completion - more artificial than real. This utopian order makes the man an artificial unrefined being, confined as a puppet in a repulsive show, which allows denunciation

and desecration towards an irrepressible peculiarity, towards a solitary life, towards what stands outside the world, towards any frozen residue in a motionless eternity. The tendency to an achieved totalisation, to a naturalisation of laws and to a reversal of human reality in a "thing”, depersonalizes the being and removes his capacity to recover in existence’s adventures. By escaping from his dark and spiritual matrix, by emerging from the abyssal night and by engendering his noticeable self-image, the man hardened, then became venomous, tempted by the oblique and poison. He exercises his willpower on the surface of the world. He is enlightened by an irate and fierce god. The power of light is reached, it is the fire which burns in hell, it is immaterial. The spirit of sulphur burns eternally. Only the childhood, warrant of an inalienable spontaneity may be invested by a pure vitality, exempted from any reification, shielded from any reified consciousness. It’s in the roots of life, in the circle of insubordination, in the first utterances that streams the poetic beverage. In the meanderings of my imagination, in the folds of the world, in the uprooting, in the crystal-like dawn lives time in its pure state. (P.B)

At the beginning of the XVIIIth century Jakob Böhme (Philosophus teutonicus),contributed to spread in the Christian West the idea of a type of heterogeneous God, longing to know himself thanks to the creation in which he is reflected, and without whom he is only Ungrund, undistinct bottom, but already a heavy potentiality of infinite energies.
