An introduction to French Alps This first 2012 VPA online group flight will bring you to the beauty of French Alps. It is currently winter time in Europe and the period might give you some challenging weather if it keeps being as of the last two or three weeks. During your journey, you will be flying by the Chartreuse area, the Vercors Regional Park on your right hand side after Grenoble and the Ecrins National Park on your left hand side along the way before diving to Gap. The descent after the Bayard pass is quite steep!
A special organisation with IVAO France To make it even a bit more as real as it gets this event is jointly organized with the IVAO France staff who will ensure full control for us in the LFMM FIR area encompassing the whole route from LFLL to destination at LFNA.

Although surrounding summits on the route might be high we will fly in quite large valleys at reasonable altitudes. IVAO Pilots attending the event would have to fill in a flight plan on IVAO with the preferred route given page 2.
