Indochine is a french rock band, formed in 1981 from the new wave current. It was a major success in the 1980s, then in the 2000s and even today in France, as in Belgium, Peru or still in Canada. The best-known songs are "L'aventurier", "3ème sexe" or more recently "J'ai demandé à la lune". After a media disinterest in the 1990s, Indochine found success in 2002 with the release of the album "Paradize", which comes from the single "J'ai demandé à la lune". The band had sold over ten million records, making it the French group the most marketable. The staging of their concerts is their strong point. During his last tour, Indochine brought together more than 800 000 spectators. June 26, 2010, Indochine was represented at the Stade de France to celebrate his 30 year career. It is the first band to hold a concert in that stadium. Since then, the band has sold over 200,000 albums from their concert. Their future is serene.

A special feature of Indochine, is looking for originality in their album covers. They are often very well done and some are filled with details. The latest album shows many personalities and is very colorful. Indochine attaches great importance to the details of the cover because it reflects much that can be heard in the album. Nicola Sirkis said of the last album that it went in all directions. As the cover. A great job.

Why this choice ? I listen Indochine since 2003 when i heard the song "J'ai demandé à la lune" on the radio. I already knew a few songs of Indochine but it made me want to know more about the group. Then I listen to most of their albums and I immediately liked their music. What I find valuable in their career is that they have adapted to the musical style of each era. I don't consider myself a fan but today I follow closely their actuality. Once an album is on sale, I buy it. I greatly appreciate the willingness of Nicola Sirkis to preserve the group over time. Indeed, it has enjoyed years of fame, more or less good. The death of Sirkis's brother with whom he founded the group could have been fatal to the band. But for ten years, the sound more rock, the team rejuvenated and beautifully orchestrated concerts gave new life to Indochine. Nicola Sirkis is the only person who through the years in Indochine. At first, they were four, including his twin brother, Stéphane, Dominique Nicolas and Dimitri Bodianski. If I chose this group, it's not only for their music but also because I appreciate the artists. They are focused on the success of a good album or a good concert. Nothing must be left to chance. What I really liked these days is respect from Indochine to his fans. Sirkis has always fought to get the cheapest seats for their concerts. In February, the victory music received for their thirty-year career has been given to a member of the public. I think the group still has many years ahead of him despite the 50 years ago by Nicola Sirkis. I will continue to listen to all their songs while waiting for the next album, which I hope will happen as soon as possible.
