Emily sings and plays since very young with her violinist/guitarist father, listening to Mozart, Jimi Hendrix and the birds around the family mobile home. Her mother, student in Arabic, often brought her to Tunisia, which ignited her hunger for travelling. At nine, she discovers the oboe and will soon enter Geneva Music Highschool. After a wild hitchhiking year all around Australia with the oboe for only companion, she decides to continue Music highschool in Paris (First price and DEM) as well as jazz courses. A time dedicated to oboe, between classical orchestras, improvised music, crazy big band... She teaches oboe and music for children ; escapes from time to time to Scandinavia, MiddleEast, India, searching for others sounds others stories. Then she starts working with modern circus artists, discovers and practices clown and plays with different companies in Africa, Poland, Portugal. She creates a first solo show The Incredible Cap’tain Braveheart’s story in 2009.
