I got a master's degree of Environmental Management and a master's degree of Hydrogeology. I would like to apply to the water science/hydrology field technician job in Aqualinc. I have one year experience of working in a french regional council, in which I was in charge of suface water and groundwater management. I was involved in water quantity and quality monitoring by flow gauging and data collecting instruments setting up (probes and piezometers). On the surface water field (coastal rivers), i analysed quantity data to : - determinate continuous lowest flow rate of coastal rivers - study the exchanges between rivers and groundwater (geological mapping by GIS) - determinate the effect of fresh water catchment on rivers flow rate - propose solutions to improve surface water quantity. On the groundwater field, I was in charge of twenty piezometers installation and maintenance, groundwater levels and statistical database creating, pumping test, sampling, chemical and conductivity profiles making, salt pollution detection. I've also a traing course experience in a drinking water provider, in which i determinated performance indicators of the urban network of Cannes city. My qualifications and abilities correspond to the skills you're looking for, and i have a very good experience in the field. I am very comfortable with IT, I created with Excel complex databases showing surface water flow rate and groundwater level evolution in connection with stormwater variations. I also did hydrology and geology mapping with GIS. I can work with a real autonomy and high responsabilities. I can also manage the stress under pressure. I've got a working holiday visa and i'm planning to stay a year at least in Chirstchurch. I can work on short or long term projects, and renew my visa for a long term one if necessary.
