SYSTEM DESCRIPTION 1. Antennas and functioning principles
2 Dimensions antennas have specially been developed for sport timing where the position of the Dag (our RFID patented chip), is not always in vertical position when passing the timing line. For applications such as road cycling, MTB, rollerblade, motorbike… the competitors wear the Dag, placed at the back of their bib number, in their back. When they sprint, for example, their back is in horizontal position and we adapted antennas to detect them in this dimensions. Considering the position of the athlete, the system is composed of a 2D antenna: it creates a double magnetical field in both horizontal and vertical planes to guarantee the detection of the DAG in any of these two positions. 2 D antennas are available in 2.3 meters, 4 meters and 6 meters wide. Prices of the system goes from 3 390 € to 10 900€, but the size of the antenna is not the only thing that can vary in the system as you will see next in this document.
Example with this 4 meter represented 2D antenna : if the cycler bent or stay straight he will be detected anyway !

Long range reader : The Long Range Reader “read” the detections given by the antenna and trasmits it directly to the PC via a Serial cable. The detection comes up in the WinLRD / WINLRD Center our detection software.
Black Box: The Black Box reads the detection given by the antenna, transmits it to the PC it directly to the PC via a Serial cable. The detection comes up in the WinDAG our detection and monitoring software. It stores every single detection in an internal memory that can contain up to 300 000 detections You can access any detection file in the black box at anytime for effective back up solution It can have one or two readers and synchronize them it enable wireless (HF) connection to your badger for back up line

Detect people that wears their Bib the wrong way
Some people may say, that we had a back up line because the system doesn’t work well, but the system works perfectly, and our aim is to enable our customer to offer 100% detections! We work for timer and races since 1998, and we know that competitors who respect the less the rules are also the ones that complains the most! This line is a proof that of our serious, and willing to offer good service in an environment that we know well. Who else can guaranty this?
