Cypress Mac OS X Mass Storage Driver Release Notes General information: The Cypress Mac OS X driver now supports our portfolio of peripheral chips when used in an ATA/ATAPI compatible application. This includes the following: EZ-USB FX, EZ-USB FX2, ISD-200, ISD300A1, SL11R, and SL11RIDE. Most of our storage solutions are Mass Storage Class compatible. The Mass Storage Class driver that ships with the Mac OS X operating systems should be used as the default choice. The following is a list of items to consider in using the Cypress driver: •

Provides driver support for some of the special features of the ISD300A1, such as ATACB, ATA Security, and interrupts
Note: Adding custom Vendor and Product IDs to the driver currently requires a rebuild of the driver. To obtain support for your custom VID/PID please contact your Cypress Sales Representative or Field Applications Engineer.
