Enthalpy Sensor - C7400S SPECIFICATION DATA • Ambient temperature operating range from -40° to 150° F. • Dual enthalpy sensors in outside air and return switches the controllers to economizer mode of operation anytime the outside enthalpy is less than the return air enthalpy. • UL recognized component (Guide info XAPX).
Guide Specification:
FEATURES • This unit mounted C7400S enthalpy sensor includes solid state temperature and humidity sensors. • Outputs a digital communicating signal on a two-wire Sylkbus communications link, reporting the temperature and humidity separately to the controller. The controller then determines the enthalpy (total heat), enabling economizer modes of operation when outside air enthalpy is suitable for free cooling. • Enthalpy sensors are compatible with Honeywell economizer systems. • The enthalpy boundary curve is programmed via the controller. When the temperature and humidity are determined to be suitable based on the relationship to the boundary, the controller allows outside air for economizing.
1. Unit mounted C7400S enthalpy sensor including solid state temperature and humidity sensors with electronics which shall output a digital communicating signal on a two-wire Sylkbus communications link to the controller upon varying enthalpy (total heat) to enable economizer modes of operation when outside air enthalpy is suitable for free cooling. 2. Enthalpy sensors are compatible with Honeywell economizer systems wherein the economizer changeover enthalpy set point resides via the Sylkbus communications network. 3. Ambient temperature operating range shall be -40 to 150F. 4. Dual enthalpy sensors in outside air and return air shall allow the economizer controllers to switch to an economizer mode of operation anytime the outside enthalpy is less than the return air enthalpy. 5. An outside air only enthalpy sensor shall allow the economizer to enable the economizer package anytime the outside air enthalpy is below a predetermined value based on the enthalpy boundaries ES through ES5.
