3. Functional Presentation Microprocessor

1.1 Signals Management The unit operates the following interfaces : Ø Serial Ø GPIO Ø Ethernet 10BT

1.2 Display Indicators The information of the CPU Activity Flasher Indicator Light operates directly with the microprocessor. The same information is on the face side of the equipment. The information Network Activity is stand alone. The LAN Activity Indicator Light only indicates the presence of a frame without quality of service.

5. Webdyngate Modbus Installation 5.1.

General Electrical Safety

WARNING Read carefully the safety instructions hereafter

The Webdyngate conforms to the European CE safety standards, however, certain basic rules should be observed when installing the product. The product should be installed by a qualified personnel. The ground must be connected to the connector This equipment is connected to the electrical supply and as such all standard precautions and procedures that apply to electrical equipment also apply to the Webdyngate. All the equipments connected to the product must be safety compliant. In case of any defect, the Webdyngate must be replaced in its entirely and must not under any circumstances be opened by other than trained service personnel.

5.2.

Mounting

Before installation, verify that the environment is compliant with the technical specifications of the gateway.

5.2.1. Table Mounting The product is installed on its four supports.

5.2.2. Wall Mounting Ø Return the product Ø Separate the Multiple unit of 2 symmetrical brackets

Ø Choose the positioning (Front side up or down) Ø Insert the brackets in the locations A and B Ø Push and press on C

Ø Let slide as showing on the illustration

Ø Verify that the stop release is up.

Ø Repeat the operation with the other bracket Ø Install the gateway with 4.5mm diameter screws and the correct plugs.

Ø Lock the support with the bracket.

Before Powering up the System Ø Connect the rear ground screw of the Webdyngate to a suitable electrical earth point Ø Connect a power supply Ø A red LED on the Webdyngate front panel flashes and indicates the correct operation of the system Ø If this LED don’t flash within 40 seconds after the connection to a suitable power supply, then please contact your installer Ø A green LED indicates a connection to the Ethernet network (LAN)
