Tembo est un tabouret constitué d’un empilement de bois, de métal et de liège qui en font un totem moderne. Son aspect ludique et massif évoque tant un jouet d’enfant que les tam-tams africains (Tembo signifie pied d’éléphant en Swahili). Tembo is a stool made of stacked pieces of wood, metal, and cork. This ‘modern totem’ has a playful and bulky aspect recalling children’s toys and African tam-tam (Tembo means elephant foot in Swahili).
