1.6 1.7 1.8 1.9 1.10 1.11 1.12 1.13 1.14 1.15 Identified problems and corrective action taken The most important problem we had is Jérôme MALLARD's colleague had resigned so Jérôme was alone to deal with the whole energy sector of Planète Sciences Mediterrannée during 4 months. Furthermore, Planète Sciences Mediterranée is still waiting for the release of the firt advance payment from the EU, which is a big problem for the structure that cannot employ anyone else.The result is we took a huge delay concerning Feedu's actions. Fortunately, we succeed to get subventions from the region and from the Ademe (the french agency of energy). A voluntary worker began to take over on november and tried to make up for lost time. He has been employed on january, 9th 2006. The second problem we met concerns the academic plan of formation ("Plan Académique de Formation"), a french educational plan which aims is to allow time for teachers to be trained on their work time. For delay reasons, we didn't succed to be integreted to this plan, that means that the teachers we have contacted for the feedu's project will have to be trained on their leisure time or on other work time. The third problem concerns the robbery of computers that happened on the begining of November. We lost a lot of informations, and the association had to deal with this mess, with consequences for everyone. FEEDU-PROJECT - EIE/04/142/S07.39438 - P.2/13

Following the inventory of educational tools, we have made the analysis of educational tools. This analysis has been made with various criterion, such as the quickness of use for teachers and children, the aptness of the tool , the “do it yourself” aspect, the “team spirit” aspect, the language of the tool, its availability, etc. This analysis allowed us to choose educative modules adapted to our local context. We have kept 11 tools, concerning renewable energy sources, rational use of energy and transports. After the translation of these educational tools, we have worked on educational progressions, to help and to give ideas for teachers to make projects, that can be realized in a short time (short time due to the problems we met, c.f. 1.3). The teachers courses have been programmed for the beginning of year 2006, following the trainers courses that has occurred on 10th of January, 2006. 2. We have planned 3 training sessions for the teachers, in each branch of the association.(Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches du Rhône and Var). The training session for trainers has occurred on 10th of January, so every branch of the association is ready to starts the training sessions for the teachers. The “Bouches du Rhône” branch has already begun with a full day animation to present teachers and children the energy topic and the FEEDU project. 2. A plan for each participating class has been programmed with teachers according to the time they have and the aims they want to reach. 2. 1st Assessment of the learning targets. (Questionnaire for pre-monitoring assessment)

We have done a leaflet that has been send to schools and teachers partners of the operation, including a brief presentation of the project, the local context, the principal objectives, the development of the project, and what could be seen, and done, by pupils. A poster has been realised too, which has been sent to schools, in order to communicate on the project.
