3rd International Polar Philatelic Exhibition from 3 to 5 December 2015

Regulations 1 - This 3-day exhibition is an open show to all polar oriented exhibits, as described in Essence of Polar Philately or any other specialized references. It features:  A competitive section evaluated by an international panel of judges.  A non competitive section for those who prefer a more personalized style of presentation. Do it your way. 2 - Yesterday and today. So as to give the same chance to contemporary material as more classic one, it created two classes of competition. Yesterday class (up to 1945) and Today class (from 1945). An exhibit will be defined in the class in which most of the exhibited material falls. However, judges always have the right to reclassify an exhibit for the benefit of the exhibitor. 3 - Each exhibitor must submit an entry form, properly completed, accompanied by a copy of the Title Page (and Synopsis, if available, for the competitive section). A separate form must be submitted for each entry. Each exhibit must be the property of the exhibitor. The organizing committee will decide whether an entry is accepted or refused. 4 - Exhibits must be mounted on sheets, encased in transparent sheet protectors for mounting in the frames. Each frame will hold 16 pages of size 9.4” x 11.8” or smaller, in four rows of four pages each. 5 - Number of frames  Competitive section: single frame (1 frame) and multi frames (3 frames minimum, 10 frames maximum).  Non competitive section: 1 frame minimum, 10 frames maximum. 6 - Participation fees for the competitive and the non competitive sections are € 10 per frame. Failure to exhibit after an entry has been accepted will cause forfeiture of all entry fees. 7 - A panel of polar-qualified judges will act as jury. The decisions of the jury will be final. 8 - Exhibits will be mounted on 2 December between 2:00pm and 7:00pm. After the exhibitor checks in at the entrance table, a member of the committee will assist the exhibitor to mount his or her exhibit. 9 - No exhibit may be removed prior to 5 December at 3:00pm 10 - The entry form deadline is December 15, 2014. Later entries may be accepted if space allows. Exhibitors will be notified of acceptance as soon as possible, but no later than February 15, 2015. 11 - Mailed in exhibits must be sent prepaid by FedEx or DHL and will be returned at the expense of the Club de MonteCarlo, at owner’s risk. All details will be given in the acceptance letter. For mailed in exhibits, each page must bear progressive numbers, on the front or back, to indicate the order in which the pages are to be mounted.

12 - A Grand Award for each class (Yesterday and Today) will be available. Gold, Large Vermeil, Vermeil, Large Silver, Silver, Silver-Bronze or Bronze will be awarded to all competitive exhibitors. Special awards will also be available. 13 - During the show, exhibits are insured by the Club de Monte-Carlo. Each exhibitor must write in the amount of his exhibit on the entry form if he wants this insurance offered. Each exhibitor must arrange for private insurance during transit to and from the show. 14 - Exhibitor’s names will appear in the program and will be used in conjunction with the presentation of awards, unless notified by the exhibitor on the entry form that a pseudonym is desired. 15 - The exhibitor’s signature on the entry form constitutes acceptance of the Regulations in this prospectus.
