Magnum Sal – FAQ If I have 4 miners in a chamber with 4 salt and 2 water and extract one salt how many tired miners will I have? Three – one extracting salt and two due to fighting with water. One miner will not be tired. How deep can I dig in phase one? You can dig as deep as you want - for example you can extract salt from second level of mine (or even third if you can) in first phase of the game Do workers in the castle queue stay in the queue when a phase ends? Remove them from the queue. When workers are removed from the mine at the end of a phase, do they remain tired? They’re ready to work in next phase. When you use an action to move a miner and reveal a new chamber, can you decide to use the rope with that action after seeing the chamber? Yes, you can use rope after seeing what's in the chamber. If somebody hires a worker for 8 cents can I still hire additional workers? Miners in the Inn are limited - miner for 8 cents is the last one you can hire in each phase. When the miner is in the mine can I move him from the mine to the Castle queue? If it is legal to move miner (he's not tired and his movement won't break a chain) then it's perfectly legal to move him from mine to queue or as a helper to building. When extracting salt, can the miners choose which salt to extract first? Yes – you can choose. Can I use multiple tools in one action (for example two pickaxes)? Yes. Can I use a bucket tool to move a water cube to the chamber that is still covered? Yes. How many orders can one miner complete in the castle? Only one.

Can I use a tool (like bucket) with tired miner? No.

Magnum Sal – Muria – Errata We missed one important sentence in the rulebook concerning setup for 5 players game – we’re very sorry for that. In 5 players game you setup a game as for 4 players game: -

In the Inn each phase you have 7 miners to hire

In the Castle you have 4 orders to fulfill

Also 5th player starts with 18 cents (and a brown cube as everyone)

FAQ How many royal orders are in Castle for each phase? All of them – 8 from base game + 3 from the expansion.

Variants If you like you can mix all 27 tools and choose 7 tools each phase at random. But be careful – this will increase randomness in a game.
