M6501-RM IP PBX Telephone performance on a converged IP network
The enterprise telephone system is no longer isolated. To deliver performance in an increasingly complex environment, the phone switch has to seamlessly interface with remote management and
maintenance applications, CTI servers, call centers, attendant stations and other communications systems. The enterprise IP network is the ideal solution for unifying this heterogeneous environment.
The M6501-RM combines the advanced hardware technology of the Succession 6500 range with the sophisticated software of M6500 communications systems to leverage the power of the enterprise IP network.
Comprehensive solutions M6500-RM systems give you a native IP interface for all associated services. This includes operating and maintenance terminals, attendant terminals, remote software downloading and intersite signaling exchange for networked configurations. What’s more, the M6501-RM enables migration to voice over IP by simply adding hardware modules (for multisite applications using TCP/IP links) and an IP Terminal Server (IPTS) to connect phone sets in IP mode.
