Especially since creating a hierarchy and organization is it's primary *goal* and not a tool to accomplish the actual goal: to develop a world-class product, and provide great community support, all in the spirit of open source software. " Everyone who was viewed as a leader stepped down and basically threw up their hands and said no more.... Another preceived leader stepped in and filled the void, with a bunch, of ill informed teams. Surly someone has the ability to see things as you have and the authority to step back in and turn this potential train wreck around. Xoops.org is the mother ship, this is where the community belongs and will stay.

(unless ran off) Please, Set up forums for these teams and tell them to conduct their business here in full view of the community. You tell me here, you are chairman of the board in name only, without any privledges to open a poll, create a forum, or provide any service for a member or a group of members of the community? Did you voluntarily decide to quit acting, or are you like the rest of us. No authority goes with the title? IF you have the authority to create a poll on the side panel, then do it. Let the community do what the community can do best. Decide their own fate. ____________ __________ BTW: I don't blame you for anything, I blame the community, people like me, for taking no for an answer without going to the top and at least asking why?

I sent this correspondence to you because as a community member I do not believe that business that relates to xoops.org and the community here should be forced to operate in a church hallway somewhere in the shadows and come back with hey, this is what we have decided.
