Remove Headlight assembly on both sides. Remove 2 bolts and unplug the lights.

Use a trim pry bar to remove both air dam openings on each side. Note: Be careful not to damage tabs.

Run the DRL harness under the black plastic cover at the front of the hood. This can be loosened by removing 4 screws, it doesn’t need to be removed. Follow the existing wire run that is already present. Feed both light plugs to the openings on the L & R.

The DRL harness will easily reach the driver and passenger side openings.

The DRL ECU will mount under the Driver side headlight. Clean area with alcohol pad (provided) and adhere to vehicle. Connect the DRL harness and power harness to the ECU.

Locate Pin 12 in the Driver headlight plug, cut this wire approximately 2 inches from the plug.

Connect the red wire with ring terminal to the existing ground screw on the driver side.

Connect the blue wire from the power harness to the harness side of the headlight (pin 12) wire and cap off the wire from the connector side, using connectors and cap provided. Heat shrink all connections.

On the Passenger side, locate pin 12 at headlight harness, and cut the wire approximately 2 inches from the connector.

Cap off both sides of the wires (pin 12). Using caps provided.

Locate Fuse 42 in the fuse panel next to the battery. Remove 15 AMP fuse and insert into “add a fuse”. Connect the black wire with “add a fuse” to this location.

Connect the new DRL’s and insert into openings on bumper, they will snap in using the OE tabs.

Reassemble headlights and reconnect headlight plugs.

Re-install black plastic cover at the front of the hood (4 screws).

Check to see that the DRL’s work properly. When the vehicle is running they should be at full power, when the headlights are active they should dim by 50%.
