LDK 6200 HD W o r l d ’s F i r s t H D S u p e r SloMo Camera

The LDK 6200 HD Super SloMo digital camera continues that tradition. The LDK 6200 HD is the last missing link in the HD production chain, able to provide super slo-motion effects in native HD formats. Instead of up-converted SD images that look degraded or out of focus or trying to make due with “normal-speed” HD replays that may miss key action points, you can use the LDK 6200 HD to get crisp, clear detail from every frame. When covering HD sporting or entertainment events, there are many expressive scene details that can go missing. You cannot tell the viewer the entire story unless you’re using the new LDK 6200 HD camera. With an all-digital architecture and 12-bit analog-to-digital conversion circuitry, the LDK 6200 HD camera uses our Emmy award-winning Dynamic Pixel Management (HD-DPM+™) for native HD acquisition and the best possible results. Just like its very successful sibling, the
LDK 6000 mk II, the LDK 6200 HD camera is designed to support switchable, multi-format, and multi-frame rate capabilities—including native image capture of 1080i or 720p formats. Designed for flexible mobile production of sports events, the LDK 6200 HD camera can be used with either Triax or fiber-optic cables. Further extending its utility and value, the camera can function as a standard LDK 6000 mk II HD camera, enabling users to switch between traditional HD acquisition or 2X Super SloMo image capture. The LDK 6200 HD Super SloMo camera features the same controls, look, and feel of today’s current Grass Valley LDK Series, making it instantly familiar for operators and transparent in image performance to viewers. It includes an LDK 6200 camera head, base station processor, Triax or fiber* adapter, and a variety of accessories (i.e., multiple viewfinders and Super Expander unit) common to the LDK 6000 mk II camera line. For recording and storing HD images, the LDK 6200 HD camera supports a third-party digital disc recorder.
