Dear All, I'm Maria Hercz from Hungary. I live in Budapest, but I work in Kecskemét (110 km far) and Szeged (205 km). I’m a teacher of pedagogy and educational evaluation specialist. My PhD’s field is Education Sciences. As an associate professor, I teach pedagogy, pedagogical assessment, research methodology, comparative education and LLL-studies for Kecskemét College Teacher Training Faculty and University of Szeged, so I teach in all kinds of initial teacher-trainings (from kindergarten-teachers to secondary teachers) and on post-graduate specialists, too. I manage a group of researcher, student-researcher and a student-tutor-group, facilitate of innovation of trainings and professional practice in our College. My research areas are: developing teaching methodology and assessment in public and higher education; teacher- and parents’ thinking; developing pupils. In the last 10 year I work for innovation of teacher training and practice, and I read a lot about EU and Finnish teacher education. I would like to see how it works really, and I’d like to collect useful things about the system, the teaching and evaluation methods of student teachers – from Finland and from the other participant countries, too. I hope we will have a useful meeting with lots of joy: Maria Best regards, Dr. Mária Hercz PhD associate professor Kecskemét College and research fellow and lecturer Szeged University Department of Education Hungary
