BROWSE . . . CIRCLES November 4 – December 23, 2017 With this exhibition, Laurence Miller Gallery launches a new series entitled Browse . . . This on-going series will feature informal installations of works by a variety of artists, in a variety of media, with a wide range of prices, all of which share a common theme. BROWSE . . . Circles will be the first chapter in the series - with circles in nature, circles in architecture and engineering, and circles in everyday objects. It will include both vintage and contemporary works by such photographers as Peter Bialobrzeski, Will Brown, Larry Burrows, Luca Campigotto, Adam Fuss, Miguel Angél García, Fred Herzog, Yoko Ikeda, Helen Levitt, Wendell MacRae (with images featured in the accompanying exhibition ROCK – PAPER – SCISSORS), Sylvia Plachy, Daniel Ranalli, Simone Rosenbauer, Toshio Shibata, HELEN LEVIT – NYC (girls with bubbles), c. 1940 Neal Slavin, and Bruce Wrighton. Works in other media include watercolors by Paul Narkiewicz, collages by Gary Brotmeyer, and Brian Lang’s oil pastels on business envelopes.
