5. Host Family Rights and Duties 1. The host family expects the au pair to help with household chores and childcare. 2. The host family agrees to treat the au pair as a member of the family. 3. The au pair will have free accommodation and food and have his/her own bedroom.
4. The au pair will receive paid to her on
pocket money each week and this will be
(day of the week).
5. The au pair shall not work for more than
hours per week*. The
au pair's working hours shall be arranged so that she/he can attend her/his language classes. *optional: If the au pair works more than the agreed hours she/he will be paid a rate of per hour for each hour worked above the agreed number of hours.* 6. 7. The cost of language classes will be paid for by the au pair/host family (delete as applicable). The host family accepts that they have voluntarily chosen the au pair and the au pair accepts that she/he has voluntarily chosen to stay with this family. In the event of serious misconduct by one of the parties, the other party may terminate the agreement. Either of the parties may also terminate with immediate effect if serious circumstances make such instant termination necessary.
