BRUSHES CATALOG Introduction This is a catalog of all the brush libraries available to you on the Adobe® Illustrator® 10 CD-ROM. For instructions on how to load these and other brush libraries to the Brushes palette, please refer to the User Guide or on-line Help. These brushes can be used as is or customized. To customize the settings of a brush, double-click on any brush in the Brushes palette to bring up the options dialog for that brush. To make changes to the actual artwork of a brush (this does not apply to Calligraphic Brushes), click on a brush in the Brushes palette and drag it to your document page. After making the changes, select the artwork, and to replace the old brush with the new art, hold the options key and drag the art onto the old brush in the brushes palette. To create a new brush either drag the selected art to the Brushes palette or choose New Brush from the palette popup menu. In both cases you will be asked to select a brush type. Pattern Brushes can have multiple tiles making up one brush, so when you are replacing a Pattern Brush in the palette only do one tile at a time. It's also best to create a new Pattern Brush with the side tile first.
