Athletically-Related Medical Expenses Information Pacific Athletics pays for student-athletes’ athletically-related medical expenses, including deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance, including athletically-related medical expenses that exceed any maximum insurance coverage limits, up until the point that a student-athlete qualifies for coverage under the NCAA Catastrophic Injury Insurance Program. Further, Pacific Athletics pays for any medical expenses that would prevent a student-athlete from participating in athletic competition.
