Travel in Birmingham. May, 6th at 11th 2012 Fiona Mandrillon. Sunday, May 6th The appointment to the airport was at 2:00 P.M.( Only for me because I left directly from Gex. ) At 2:30 P.M, we recorded. Take-off of plane was scheduled for 5:00 P.M. And we had to land at 5:55 P.M. Everything went very well and we go off on time. We landed to MANCHESTER at the scheduled hour and then we were taken over by a bus to take us to Birmingham. Our family met us to King Heath at about 8:15 P.M. The weather was cloudy. Lolita and I go settled in our room. The family showed us around the house and presented themselves to us. And we went to bed. I was a bit tired after this flight. There were two beds in the room, a large wardrobe and two little bedsides tables.

Monday, May 7th The family woke us up at 6:45 A.M. We had breakfast at 7:00 A.M. The served us tea and toast with honey. We had an appointment with the rest of the class at 8:30 A.M. The family give us lunch and

then we left the house. This morning, we went to Stratford to visit the SHAKESPEARE BIRTHPLACE. After eating, we visited WARWICK CASTLE. The weather wasn't very nice, it rained all morning, but the weather finally settle in the after noon. I was a bit tired.. The rain brothered me. At the end of the day, the professor announced that they had a surprise. They take us to the restaurant ! We eat fish and ships, then we had a scoop of vanilla ice cream. After that, they take us to the bowling ! We had a lot of fun ! Then at 7:00 P.M, we joined our families.

Tuesday, May 8th Like everyday, the appointment with the rest of the class was at 8:30 A.M. This morning, we went to DUDLEY to visit the BLACK COUNTRY MUSEUM ( mine ). This was a man who told us the stories of people who worked in the mines. I loved this activity because we saw many interesting things. After eating, we went to CADBURY WORLD ( the chocolate factory ).We saw how they made chocolate. It was cool ! And it smelled very good ! After this, we attended an English guided tour of BIRMINGHAM city. The sun was shining, and I really liked this activity. We saw many beautiful things. Then we returned to our family.

Wednesday, May 9th This morning, we did the tour of CHESTER and we did the GOST TOUR to. The lady who told us stories was very interesting. She told stories of strange ghosts. I really enjoyed that ! The only problem was the weather. Again..! It rained all the morning. Anyway, this wasn't a big problem because we were inside. After eating, we went to WIMSLOW to visit the QUARRY BANK MILL. The museum of spinning. I didn't really enjoy this activity. I found it a bit annoying. We returned to our family at 7:00 P.M.

Thursday, May 10th This morning, we had to get up a little bet more earlier because we

had to prepare our suitcases. Today, we did a lot of things. First, we did an English guided tour of OXFORD city. It's a very nice city. Then we visited the CHRIST CHURCH COLLEGE with the refectory of Harry Potter. I enjoyed visiting this university. The refectory is almost the same as in Harry Potter. Smaller. Everything was very well maintained, and with the sun shining, it made things even more beautiful. After the lunch, we went to BIRMINGHAM to visit the BULRING. A huge shopping centre where you can find anything that would please us ! I bought two t-shirts, a pair of glasses and a body cream. It was very cool ! This day was great ! And we were very lucky with the weather ! We returned to our family at 7:00 P.M.

Friday, May 11th This day was a bit different from the others. The appointment was at 8:00 A.M. We visited the Beatles museum in LIVERPOOL. It was very

interesting ! People who work here have lent small devices that we explain the life of the Beatles. We heard much of their childhood. Like every lunchtimes, we ate our sandwiches. After this, we went to Manchester to visit the football stadium. This was a man who showed us around the stadium. We have seen many things. But we were not able to visit the cloakroom because there were sponsored. The store was pretty big and beautiful. I bought a t-shirt for my father. After that, we returned to the airport. It was 3:45 P.M. When we left Manchester. The flight was at 6:25 P.M. About thirty minutes before boarding the plane, the professor decided to order a Coke, an hamburger and chips for everyone. Unfortunately, there were some smalls problems. The command wasn't entirely ready to the time when we were boarding. Some pupils are gone to help the teacher to bring everything he wanted. They ran in all directions, but finally, managed to board the plane on time, with all that was missing. The flight was very well spent. We flew to Geneva at 9:15 P.M. My family were waiting for me. Then I went at home.

I'll talk about this woman who was telling stories of ghosts: She was telling very interesting stories. they were very well told. She put the tone that there was need. I really enjoyed this. The lady was very nice.
