4th April 2009

To: all members of the Royal British Legion – Central Brittany Branch.

Dear Legion Member As you may know Lieutenant Colonel Simon Owen, our President, will be taking up a new post in Lille at the end of July this year, where I know we all wish him well. At the committee meeting on 25th March it was unanimously voted to offer the position of President to Major General Graham Hollands (retired) to take effect on Lieutenant Colonel Owen's departure. Major General Hollands agreed and promises to be as conscientiously involved in our affairs in an advisory capacity as was Lieutenant Colonel Owen. Although the General and his wife Lesley live in La Manche, we are assured that distance will be no obstacle. Best wishes

Hon Secretary
