1. Project’s name “The Crazy Escape” is a working title. It indicate in few words the type of game and the general tone. “The Crazy Escape” is not the translation of French title “Fuite vers l’avant”, but it is a good-hearing title. The game will be released on cell phones. 2. Type « The Crazy escape » is a platform game combined with some puzzle mechanics, where the speedness is more than essential. There is few “escape game” in the video game industry, especially with on cell phones platform. Only few games, like “Exit” on Psp, and some levels in “Aladdin” or “Sonic” use this concept. In fact, this is like a platform game, with an higher stress, because some elements (monster, lava, and so more) are running after you, and there is no way to go back. In “Mario” or “Sonic”, you can stop your move, and think about your next step, but in “The Crazy Escape”, stopping rhymes with losing. 3. Story and Universe The game’s universe is totally cheesy and ridiculous. The player will walk through different worlds and ages, and escaping to legendary monsters, like “King Kong”, “Tarzan” or “Leather Face”. Each level is build in a unique way, with famous backgrounds like jungles, New York or the Jurassic era. “The crazy escape” is a melting-pot of last century-movies cliché, and the monsters design and background will be inspirited by them. 4. Features

Design: Totally in 2d and color (most cell phone handle it). Characters and elements of the first layer will be colored by with basics shades while backgrounds will get more details. In spite of the funny art direction, characters aren’t in SD, they keep realistic proportions. Between each level, cut-scenes help the narration, and introduce the next monster and his world, or the hero’s situation, with artworks and illustrations. Sound: Midi sound, the quality and quantity will change in function of the cell phone’s capacity. Musics has to be harrowing, from hysterical guitar to strident violin. Scenario : You play a lazy road sweeper working in a laboratory full of new technologies. Always curious, he decide to test the last project, a time-traveling machine, who’s the beginning of a long journey. The scenario is only a pretext for running and traveling abroad different worlds and levels. The hero is grotesque in his acts and expressions, there is no philosophy or message to understand in this game. In spite of the impressive and incredible monsters, the game tone is very light. 5. Games Modes Story Mode: The player is a lazy road-sweeper lost in different ages. He has, in each level, to join the temporal hole, located at the end of the level. But, while he run like a sprinter, a monster is after him, on your back, and if he catch the hero, the game is over. The player has to escape to the level’s Master and reach the temporal hole (or finish line) before the ugly pursuer. Many difficulty’s levels are available. Time Attack: Replaying the completed levels for the high-score and the best time. The player can run against a monster and the best time’s ghost (like “Mario Kart” or “Gran Turismo”) The hunt: The player, this time, has to hunt and catch the monster before the finish line. 6. Game mechanics The game is all about run, jump and escape: - The player has to go from a point A to B. On his way, lot of objects like stones, swords, which he can interact (jump, climb, accelerate…). He must reach the level’s end before being caught by the monster after him. - The only case of Game Over is when you’ve been trapped by the level’s keeper. He’s chasing the runner with a lower speed (on normal difficulty)following the same way. Each error might be deadly. The more the game is going on, the more the player has to do a perfect run. - The player’s action are: Running, Jumping, Climbing, using a boost and stopping his run. - Some objects can change the properties of hero’s values. A boost will increase speedness for example. - For each level, there is many paths to go to the end. Some of them are faster and harder, other are easier and lower. With a smart level design, a beginner and a hardcore gamer will use different ways to get to the same point. - Twelve worlds, thirty six levels and a great compendium from the “Werewolf” to the serial killer, passing by “King Kong”. - The controls requires only few keys. Left and Right for running, 0 for Jumping, and # for using the boost. Time Attack:

The main factor of replay-value. This mode offer to the player the trial of succeeded levels, timed and ranked for the high-scores. - The player’s best time ghost is running the level like you do, repeating his score again and again until his defeat. - A checkpoint system compare the player time with the first chrono in some specific points. - High-score system save the 3 best times. Mode contre-poursuite : - Rules are reversed, and the player must hunt the beast, and catch him before the level’s end. 7. Public “The crazy escape”’s platform is the cell phone. The simple and intuitive gameplay will make easier the conversion to others cell phones models, and “the Crazy Escape” is built for the casual and hardcore gamers. The first will play short sessions of 5 minutes, and the last will play hours for the best high-score. 8. Key features -
