There are also problems for xmonad users. Try the workaround described on the page http://www.haskell.org/haskellwiki/Xmonad/Frequently_asked_questions#Problems_with_Java_appli cations Add "export 'AWT_TOOLKIT=MToolkit'" to your ~/.bashrc or /etc/profile.bash, depending on your shell and system configuration.
