School trip to Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday 22nd May Join us! 50 of our Year 7 and 8 students will have the chance to go to Stratford-upon-Avon and to watch a play by William Shakespeare. In the morning we will take a guided tour of Anne Hathaway’s cottage. For lunch we will have a picnic near the river. Don’t forget to bring lunch. In the afternoon we will watch W. Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Macbeth’. Parent and student information meeting: Friday 10th April in the assembly hall at 6 p.m. Please be quick if you want to join us as the closing date is Friday 24th April. Price: £12. Meeting place: school gate at 8 a.m. The coach will leave at 8.30. Return time: 6.30 p.m.

Document 2 Dear pupils, Our yearly Stratford-upon-Avon trip is very popular. Unfortunately we cannot get enough tickets to see ‘Macbeth’. We have tickets for ‘Romeo and Juliet’ instead. The tickets are a little more expensive than expected. The trip will now cost £15 per person. Departure time is the same. We will eventually come back around 7 p.m..
