It’s the first event of the French Championship for the 2008/2009 season. You will find enclosed the modalities of organization and the regulation. SECOND EUROPEAN CUP FOR CADETS Cercle d'Escrime de Châlons en Champagne Sponsored by Crédit Agricole du Nord-Est Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December 2008 REGULATION ART . 1

The Cercle d'Escrime of Châlons en Champagne Challenge is an individual event for Cadets men (epee) born in 1995,1994,1993,1992. This challenge is opened to french and foreign fencers , owners of the License of the current year .

ART. 2

Saturday, December 6th, 2008 Parc des expositions, doors open at 10.00 am Call: 10.30 am Scratch:11.15 am Beginning: 12.00 am Groups: 3 rounds (of 6 or 7) Sunday, December 7th, 2008 Parc des expositions, doors open at 8.00 am Call: 8.15 am Scratch:8.45 am Beginning: 9.00 am TED 128 or 64 (according to the number of participant), TED 32 with resit, without resit up from the ¼ finals The technical board will be established on the spot.

The fencers’ outfit and material will have to correspond to the regulation of the FFE and in perfect state (outfit 350 Newton and breastplate 800 Newton).

Registration fee are 15€.

The registrations will have to be passed on at the latest on Thursday, December 6th 2007 before midnight. - to the French Fencing Federation (FFE) website for national fencers - to the Cercle d'Escrime de Châlons en Champagne for foreign fencers Tél. /fax 03 26 65 26 87 or email [email protected] Please, answer at latest on thursday 27th November 2008

ART. 7

Each club presenting at least 4 fencer will have to provide the Organization a qualified referee who will be paid according to the French fencing Federation scale. Foreign delegations are asked to provide 2 referees. "NON STOP" Event – Buffet on the spot CAUTION: No drink or food allowed in the gymnasium where the event will take place, except at the bar . Sporting shoes are compulsory for every persons, including accompanying people and referees.

Only the Maître d’armes (or the accompanying person) is allowed at the end of the tracks. Other people will stay necessarily in the terraces. The fencers’ equipment will also be stored in the terraces.

You’ll find enclosed a list of the hotels where you’ll be able to stay during the event.

ART. 11

The fact of registrating means that you accept the present regulation and its arrangements.

ART. 12

ALLOWANCE: the first 8 fencers will receive rewards.

ARTI. 13

For the good progress of the challenge, the organizers reserve the right to modify the present regulation and decline any responsibility in the event of an accident, theft or loss which can arise to the participants and to the spectators.

ART. 14

Any protest will be settled by the Technical Directory.
