RODRIGUE Questionnaire on the (road) users’ needs and requirements about interaction Vehicle-Infrastructure-Driver Invitation to the panel of users About ten European organizations, most of them being members of the FEHRL (Forum of European Highway Research Laboratories), take part to a preparatory action for a future research project « RODRIGUE » (Road Diagnosis to Share Information and Risk Management with Users). RODRIGUE has several objectives : - to assess the risk level (of road users, of road managers) with respect to the traffic and meteorological conditions, and the infrastructure and its equipments, - to improve the quality and efficiency of the management tools (road signs, ADAS, …), - to measure and analyze vehicles trajectories in order to identify the road section exposed to conflicts or higher risk level, - to develop a methodology and tools for road diagnosis. One of the key task of the project consists of collecting and analyzing the end users’ and other interested parties’ needs and requirements. Therefore, a questionnaire was elaborated (in English, French and Italian), which is divided into two parts : (1) the factors which determine the accident risk level; (2) the road users’ and other interested parties’ needs and requirements. This questionnaire is designed for several hundreds of road professionals (road managers, consultants, road transport and safety managers, persons in charge of regulations and enforcement, car and truck manufacturers, driver representatives), all around Europe. You are invited to spend a few minutes to fulfill this questionnaire on-line on the Web, following the instructions given below. Your contribution is important, because it will help us to better identify the objectives and expected deliverables of a future European research project, and therefore to improve the European road network safety and efficiency.
