Parlez-vous anglais ? is an Indie Disco Pop outfit (cause an outfit is warmer than a band in the winter) coming from Paris & Berlin, formed by Franz Matthews, Franz Jules and Franz Hamz. PVA started as a solo project initiated by Franz Matthews, a franco-german producer who wanted to mix all of his good and bad (but nonetheless human) tastes into something that at least he would like, that is, a groovy Electronic Pop that could fit both in a dance club or a rock venue. Taking us somewhere between WhoMadeWho, LCD Soundsystem, Radio 4 & Chic… Matthews soon realized that it would be much more fun to play those tracks with a real band. So in 2011, around the same period as the release of their “Sunglasses & Shirts” EP (FTW), Franz Jules joined the boat on drums & production, while Franz Hamz brought his funky guitar style to the crew. Since then, the band’s been touring since 3 years in France (Printemps de Bourges w/ SFR Jeunes Talents, Rock’n Solex, Bus Palladium, International Music Videoclip Festival…), in the UK (93 Feet East, The Lexington) and in Germany (://about blank).

Parlez-vous anglais ? is about to release a selection of tracks on which they’ve worked on in 2013. Produced at the Studios de la Seine in Paris, the EP was made with real guitars, real analog synths only (well, almost) & real drums recorded on a real tape machine (like some bands of the 70’s did, i.e. Daft Punk). These new tracks show a new side of the band, of the landscapes they’ve been traveling on lately. Drifting away from their innocently fresh songs to add more depth, more colors to their patchwork. In 2014, you’ll hear a more Melodic, Groovy, Pop, Dark, Ehereal & Disco side of PVA… but still created by a Rock band playing Electronic music… The band will be releasing their new EP « Dancing in the Other Side » in march 2014.

Web Parlez-vous anglais? concocte un savant melting-pot des genres qui, loin d’être indigeste, se repose sur un sens de la composition à la fois simple et mélodique, fusionnant électro-psyché et disco-punk.
Hop le clip de ce groupe français electro/ disco/pop qui rox pas mal.
Bref, Parlez vous Anglais ?, c’est de la bombe, que vous soyez fan d’électro, de rock de pop, ou même d’autre chose tiens, je suis persuadé que vous laisserez charmer vos doux tympans par ces rythmes entraînants !
