Performers Klaus Fruchtnis

Klaus Fruchtnis was born in Colombia in 1978. He has studied visual arts at the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and continued his education at the École de Beaux Arts of Paris and Rennes, France. Actually, he lives and works between Paris and Bangkok. Klaus Fruchtnis defines himself as an "image-maker”, a particular composition of words which show states of a concrete attitude for the work, and also its imagination, its fancy, which could fit among the pages of Wonderland. His artistic work is related to the word space, and it has been characterized by its itinerary and its way of evolution the last past years. This need to find new places to grow up with his work and the interaction which surrounds it makes it becomes different. The space and its new territories interest him as a thematic space of art development. And to find a neutral space of perception where human beings and space can merge like a matrix. He studied acting and dance, and performed, in many countries such as Colombia, France, Canada, Australia and Thailand. He has studied dance with Yvan Alexandre and L’arriere boutique in France, Olvier Vinkler in Thailand and at the Sydney Dance Company in Australia. He participated in the last production of the Bangkok City Ballet and the Paris Opera National Ballet in Bangkok this year, Don Quixote. Philippe Saint-Paul

Philippe started to dance at 14, when he discovered Tap, jazz and Ballet. He got his professional dance training from Rosella Hightower International School of Dance in Cannes, France, where he studied Ballet, Jazz, modern, pas de deux, folk, therapy, Flamenco and music. After choreographing for dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet for a French movie on the famous dancer Nijinsky, he went on with his dance career which led him to the US, where he worked with noted choreographers as Trisha Brown, Lance Gries, Demetrius Klein among others. At the same time he kept choreographing such noted pieces as “ Anna”, “Rachmaninov Rhapsodie”, “Mozart Requiem” and teaching from young kids to professionals (Alvin Ailey dance company, Ballet Florida, etc…) He also appeared in several musical shows, combining his singing talent with dancing and acting. After 10 years in NY and more than 13 years in the US, he decided to explore new grounds and move to Thailand.
