Poulet Grand-Mère Preparation time: 20 min Cooking time: 50 min Serves 6 Ingredients 1 chicken cut in pieces - 3 bunches of baby onions - 150 g smoked bacon - 18 button mushrooms - 8 large potatoes - 0.15/ dry white wine – li chicken broth - 1 spoonful of four - 4 sprigs thyme - 0.05 I olive ou - 30 g butter - sait and pepper. Peel the onions and cut the bacon into small strips. Clean and cut the mushrooms. Peel and dice the potatoes. a large cast-iron pot, heat the ou and the butter. Fry the pieces of chicken for 15 minutes and keep them aside. Then put haif the chopped on ions, the bacon, the diced potatoes and two soup-spoonfuls of broth in the pot, fry together for 10 minutes and put back the chicken. Sprinkle with flour and fry for a few more minutes. Pour the white wine and let it evaporate for a few minutes. Add the mushrooms, the rema,jning onions chopped coarsely, the broth and the thyme. Season. Cover the pot and let stew on low heat for 30 minutes. Correct the seasoning if required and serve very hot.
