Letter written by the engineer Mr. Daniel Young at the end of the one-month internship I did at AECOM company. Mr Daniel Young Principal Engineer Building Engineering AECOM [email protected] Exchange Court 1 Dale Street L2 2ET Liverpool England

Wednesday, 28th of Jun 2017. The following is a brief appraisal of Paul Buonsignori ‘s internship employment with AECOM in the summer of 2017. Paul joined the company on a six week placement in May 2017, working within the Building Engineering (MEP) team out of our Liverpool office. It was apparent from his first day with us Paul would be a pleasure to work with, as he showed; desire, enthusiasm, commitment and technical ability that will, I’m sure prove invaluable in his chosen career path within the building services industry. In his time with the Liverpool MEP team Paul showed a willingness and aptitude to take on any task we could provide him with which included work on software which was unfamiliar to him such AutoCAD & HevaComp. During his relatively short tenure Paul provided assistance on two major healthcare projects, and this work has been a significant help in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects. Paul has a friendly personality and not only demonstrated his technical competence but also excellent interpersonal skills as he related well with all members of the team. This was particularly impressive given the slight language barrier that was in place. Finally as Paul’s mentor during his stay here I am sure that with continued support and guidance he will make great progress within the building services industry. Yours Sincerely,

Daniel Young, MEng, MCIBSE, CEng
