Activity 2 : MATHS & ABSTRACT ART Discovery of several artists a) Jasper Johns b) Kandinsky c) Piet Mondrian d) Victor Vasarely Pupils will describe in English some works of Art their teachers will propose to them, in order to learn and use mathematical vocabulary about 2D and 3D shapes. They will work about the properties of these shapes too. Pupils will also work in the ICT classroom using Geogebra and other softwares to build some personalized geometrical "works of art". Activity 3 : DRAWING CONTEST Each pupil will choose an artist among the 4 presented, and he will create a drawing.
