DOMAINE DE L’ARJOLLE - SYNTHESE 2008 Concours Agricole de Paris 2009 - Gold medal

Synthèse has got a fine ruby colour with bright glints. The nose express a nice complexity with notes of fresh fruits, red fruits, almost crystallized, associated to vanilla. A generous taste at first, followed by harmony between freshness, ropy and very nice soft tannins proof of a high maturity.

CHÂTEAU CESSERAS - CHÂTEAU LES FERRANDES 2006 Concours Agricole de Paris 2009 - Gold medal

This wine has a deep purple colour and a nose with soft aromas, highlighted by little red fruits notes and a touch of grilled aromas. The tannins are particularly kneaded to softness and finesse, the mouth is full and generous. The Château les Ferrandes gives us an exceptional cuvee for a racy wine, sweet, complex and tasty. Perfectly recommended for drinking all along the meals, with grilled or cooked meat, poultry or game as well as chocolate cake and of course cheese.

The La Livinière 2008 has been selected by english journalists at the occasion of the presentation of the 2008 vintage at the abbeye of Fontfroide to be tasted in Great Britain at the Maison du Languedoc.

Back to the wines, 2008 is an atypical vintage with very fresh, complex and generous red wines. The whites and rosés are faithful to the winery. The very low temperatures this winter provoked important natural tartaric rains, so the wines didn’t need much external help to be « clean » before the bottling. A journey to Brussels and Amsterdam...

« Les 4L de la Méditerranée » in association with two other groups of wine producers from LanguedocRoussillon have organised a tasting the 20th and 21st of April in Brussels and Amsterdam under the name of « Les Terroiristes du Midi ». Linked by a same passion of the southern French terroir, the three associations decided to join for the occasion in order to present a very large range of authentic and expressive wines...

The 4L became the « Terroiristes du Midi » for a tasting in Belgium and The Netherlands...

Gastronomic walks at La Rectorie...

Yearly walk into the vines of Banyuls at La Rectorie@

Like every year is getting ready at La Rectorie the 11th gastronomic walk in the vines of Banyuls. The next 21st of May, a hundred of friends and passionate people will participate to this ballad through the vineyard. The principle is simple: chefs from the region are going to prepare delicious dishes in improvised kitchens in the middle of the vines which you could savour with wines from La Rectorie or other wineries.
