Audio Engineer COMPANY NALYS is a consulting company developing High-Tech solutions (based on excellence centers) which focuses on a specific technology or set of technologies. We are currently looking for an audio Engineer to assist our customers and develop our Audio Cluster. This position is located in Belgium but responsibilities can range over other countries.
JOB DESCRPTION Objectives As a member of the Voice Core team, you are responsible for productization of speech processing algorithms. This includes fixed point design, definition and execution of tests, documentation, code optimization, etc. You will work in a scrum team with a scrum master and architect. Desired Knowledge / Experience • Thorough basic knowledge of signal processing theory • Good Knowledge about audio and acoustics, mainly in the speech processing domain (echo cancellation, noise suppression, etc.) • Good software architecture and development skills. (C for components and PERL for scripting, Matlab for algorithm design and testing, sometimes assembly for optimization) • Experience with developing fixed point implementation of algorithms. • Knowledge of ARM cores and development tools (ARM9/11, Cortex A8,A9) • (optional) Knowledge of other cores (Atom, QDSP, TeakLite, Tencillica etc.) • (optional) Knowledge of Mobile Operating systems (Android, Windows Mobile, etc.).
