Scientific Positions Current Sep 2008

Post-doctoral fellow at Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey Photonics with Liquid Micro-Resonators Conducted under the supervision of Dr. Alper Kiraz. The research activity consisted in tuning, locking and characterizing liquid microdroplets standing on a Superhydrophobic surface by monitoring their Whispering Gallery Mode resonances. Experimental techniques included lasers, microscope-based optical setups, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
