Once the soft link is properly installed, pull the line group upwards, this will set the soft link and put it in the proper location at the top of the riser.
Installation instructions: Connecting a main canopy to PMI Main Risers using Soft Links
Locate the dive loop area and the top riser loop of the riser. Group together as shown below
Pinch both layers of Type 17 together about ½ way back from the top of the loop. (dots indicate pinch location)
