Just a short walking distance to Pompidou Modern Art Museum (20 minutes) and Notre-Dame, you can wander through Le Marais, the hippest yet most authentic area of Paris. Located between République and Bastille, you will have access to major metro and bus lines. The apartment is a typically parisian style place (white walls, wooden floor). You’ll have access to everything you need to live a daily life, in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Description: In an Hausmann style building, the apartment’s windows open onto a courtyard, assuring you a quiet stay. The apartment, on the second floor (no elevator), is composed of two rooms, with a total area of 40 square meters (430 square feet). The bedroom (130 square feet) is separate, with a queen bed, an open closet and drawers under the bed, plus a desk. The living room is an open space (180 square feet) that contains a futon, wall shelves, a coffee table and a dinner table with two chairs (equipped with TV (240 channels), DVD player, WIFI, phone (call for free to most European countries and USA). The kitchen is small but offers plenty of space for cooking (fully equipped, including small fridge, electric stove, microwave, kettle, toaster). The bathroom has a small tub (equipment : hair dryer). The toilets are separate. Sheets and towels will be provided. Laundry: the apartment has its own washing machine and drying rack. A fan can be moved from one room to the other for convenience. Good points: I live here all year long so you’ll have access to a lively, fully equipped and working apartment. The place will be thoroughly cleaned to allow you to feel at home and be able to settle in with your personal belongings. I’ll be there to welcome you in, show you around the apartment and give you some tips about the life in the neighbourhood. There will be a notebook with info about museums, suggested outings and addresses for great bars, restaurants, spots and areas to visit that are not in travel books !
