Minimum Age : 23 Examination: initial Class 1 medical examination at an AMC according to JAR-FCL without EEG and chest xray. Assessment: assessment criteria of revalidation / renewal examination. Hold FAA ATPL including a valid multi-pilot aeroplane type rating as defined in JAR-FCL 1 with 1500 hrs flight experience post ATPL issue on multi-pilot aeroplane types as defined in JAR-FCL 1. Undergo training and testing in accordance with the ATPL conversion training syllabus and examination profile. ( See Appendix to this table ) Pass an ATPL skill test on a multipilot aeroplane type.

Hold FAA CPL or ATP with 500 hours PIC post CPL licence flight experience in class or types as listed in Appendix 1 to JAR-FCL 1.215 or Appendix 1 to JAR-FCL 1.220. Undergo training and testing in accordance with the CPL conversion training syllabus and examination profile. ( See Appendix to this table )

Type ratings on CPL may be added based on JAR-FCL approved training or by meeting FAA type rating requirements and successful passing of FAA practical test for type rating

Practical Skill

Pass a Skill Test on relevant class or type in accordance with Appendix 1 and 3 to JAR-FCL 1.240. The aeroplane used for the skill test shall be certificated for the carriage of at least 4 persons, have a variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear. Additional type or class ratings may be added at the time of licence issue on acceptable evidence of satisfactory completion of FAA approved type or class training and completion of a proficiency check in accordance with Appendices 1 & 2 or 1 & 3 , as appropriate, to JAR-FCL 1.240 & 1.295 Where an applicant seeks to convert a multi-pilot type rating as defined in JAR-FCL that applicant shall meet the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.250. Where an applicant seeks to convert a type/class rating designated as High Performance Aeroplane (HPA) that applicant shall also meet the requirements of JAR-FCL 1.251.
