A project beyond common to be built in 2 years: including 4 stations, cabins on air cushions pulled by cables, transporting for the 1st time, landside and airside passengers, and a 2km long prestressed concrete viaduct, requiring the deviation of the main technical networks of the Airport on the largest path of the project

1991-1993: Principal Engineer at SETEC-Foulquier (SETEC Group) Technical design of the EOLE suburban railway project (Paris, 1991-1993) In charge of the definition studies, then appointed as Consultant Engineer of the main technical installations and secondary civil works of the Magenta station, and of the tunnels of the phase 1 of the project; Project cost: 1000 Million USD; estimated attributed works: 50 Million USD; directed team:3 to 5 Engineers, 3 to 6 draftsmen. Conducted studies: Definition and design studies of the technical installations of a large underground station, of 4 km of railways tunnels, and 4 ventilation pits 30m deep to be executed in restricted urban areas, Ventilation installations of 300m3/s, 10 MVA HT networks requiring of high level of liability. Preparation, negotiation of design extension contracts (design studies extended from 1M€ to 5 M€). Personal assignment: Consortium chief Engineer and Consultant of the Technical Committee of Cairo University, including overall works supervision from site handing over till preliminary handing over. Supervision team: 4 Engineers, 2 Architects; Construction works team: up to 1000 employees. Nasser Institute Hospital (Cairo, 1982 - 1987) Completion of a 30 year old structure, transformed into a first class international hospital (80M€ project); Conducted assignments: Assistance to Employer then overall project manager and works supervisor (FIDIC Rules) from preliminary studies till project completion; Supervision team: 2 Engineers, 2 Architects; Works team: up to 400 employees during the day works period, up to 600 employees during construction works. Technical assistance and engineering of various Egyptian projects (1982 –1984) UNESCO expert for museum projects in Egypt ; Renovation of Cairo museum, Definition of the museum of Egyptian civilization, Estimates and start up of the Nubia museum in Assouan. 1974-1982: Design Engineer, then project developer in Nantes Managing director of the IMMOBILIERE D'ENTREPRISES (Nantes, 1980-1982) Overall contractual and financial development of industrial and commercial estates (3M$ fund raising) , negotiation of the lease memorandums, projects preparation and implementation, constitution and administration of investment estates, distribution of the incomes to the investors.
